How we handle your data

What we collect

Veticity collects your name, email address, manuscript title, abstract, and submission metadata (target journal, ABS tier, methodology) for the sole purpose of assessing commercial interest in our pre-submission review service and, where relevant, providing that service.

How we use it

Data is stored securely and will not be shared with any third party. Your unpublished abstract is treated as confidential intellectual property. We will not use it for any purpose other than this validation study and, if you proceed to a paid review, the triage and review process.

AI processing

Your abstract is processed through the Anthropic API to perform structural triage and journal fit analysis. Anthropic does not use API inputs to train its models. Veticity does not retain or repurpose your content after the review is complete.

Legal basis

Legitimate interest (validation study) and, where a review is purchased, contractual necessity.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, email [email protected]. We will confirm deletion within 5 working days.

Pilot pipeline registrations

If you register a future manuscript slot, we collect your name, email, target journal, and estimated completion date. This data is used only to contact you when availability opens. You may unsubscribe at any time by replying to any email from us.
